February 22, 2007 - First National Bank promotes Wojta to COO Thomas J. Bare, President of First National Bank, has announced the appointment of Paul H. Wojta to Chief Operations Officer (COO) at First National Bank. As COO Wojta is responsible for providing the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure the Bank has the proper operational controls, administrative controls, reporting procedures, and systems in place to effectively grow the Bank and ensure operating efficiency. Wojta joined First National Bank in 1983 as an auditor. He has held several positions over the years including the most recent position of Senior Vice President and Cashier. Wojta, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Bank Auditor, Certified Financial Services Auditor, and a graduate of the Wisconsin Bankers Association Bank Operations School and the Graduate School of Banking Financial Managers School. Wojta and his wife, Jeanne reside in Francis Creek, and have three children. First National Bank is an independent community bank, in business since 1894, with fourteen locations throughout Manitowoc, Brown, Calumet, and Sheboygan counties.
